BODY SAFETY EDUCATION - Term 4 Body Education Program, St Mary’s
Kelly Nash will be running our Body Education Program for our students in Grade 1 to Grade 6 this week.

Parents and Carers are, and always will be, the primary body safety and sexuality educators of their children. Body Safety and Sexuality Education in the school setting can complement the value of respect and promote the involvement of parents and carers in this vital aspect of a child’s development.
Kelly is an experienced educator and has provided some resources she recommends to families to support dialogue:

The school has copies of these resources available for families to borrow and use with their children.
The Prep Body Safety Program will be facilitated by Mrs Galvin and Miss Kalkbrenner in the coming weeks.

SunSmart - Hats Term 4!
As a SunSmart school, we wear hats outside when the UV indicator requires it and every day in Term 1 and Term 4.
Students without hats will be required to play in the Shelter Shed.
If you require a new hat, please see the office.
