Student Exchange Program 2025  Host Families Needed

Every year, we have students join us from Kinjo High School in Japan. Next year we will have three students: two girls, Misa and Yui and one boy, Takamura.

AIIU is looking for one or more families to host one of the students for Term One in 2025.

  • Families can host a student for all or part of the term.
  • No need to cook special food.
  • The student can share a bedroom (same gender)
  • Host families are paid a small stipend of $50 per night to help with costs
  • 27 January to 4 March 2025

This is a wonderful opportunity for families to enjoy learning about another culture, make new friends and share God's love with these young people. Hosting is open to families from all Year levels.

Music Showcase Night

The community is warmly invited to watch the Music Showcase Concert coming up next Wednesday 27 November at 6:30pm in the G Block Gym. Performers are to arrive at 6:25pm to ensure that you can get your seat and your child can feel comfortable and not rushed.

If your child is performing, please dress them in something that looks 'nice' but is comfortable. Dressing up can be a fun part of performing as long as your child is comfortable and can move easily in their clothes. If in doubt, school uniform is perfectly acceptable!

All students have chosen a song to perform and have been polishing them for a few weeks now. Many are excited to show their piece to the audience and to their peers!

Canteen News
