Spotlight on Learning - Room 4

Diorama Making

Students in Room 4 concluded a very busy term 3 by consolidating their knowledge about Natural, Managed and Constructed places. They made a diorama of a place of their own choosing, collected natural items to include and were able to be creative with a variety of materials and art supplies. 

The students first needed to plan their diorama as part of the design phase and think very carefully about what materials were necessary for them. Once they planned their diorama they shared their ideas with a partner for any further ideas or suggestions. 

They looked fantastic and the students worked so well during this creative making time.
