Mangrook Kids

Marngrook Kids is a dynamic education program that brings First Nations culture to life through the joy of movement and the power of play.   Inspired by the traditional Aboriginal game of Marngrook - widely acknowledged as a forerunner to modern Australian football - this unique program uses physical activity, storytelling and cultural games to foster deep learning, connection and cultural awareness in children.

Co-designed with First Nations community members, The Long Walk and Essendon Football Club, the 45-minute program embeds First Nations perspectives in developmentally appropriate, engaging and joyful learning experiences aligned to the Early Years Learning Framework and Victorian Curriculum.

RECLINK

The Reclink Australia ActiVIC program is an innovative social inclusion program, that uses sport and recreation to engage people.

We develop programs to meet the needs of the community with the objectives of delivering better physical health, mental health and greater social inclusion.

Why we exist

Our programs provide moments of joy, human connection, opportunity and a sense of purpose for participants.

How we achieve this

We nurture meaningful and fruitful partnerships. We curate a national network of social service agencies (members of Reclink) and connect them to our values-aligned partners in the sport and recreation industry, Government, the corporate sector, philanthropic bodies and other supporters.

Our impact

Through our partnerships and programs our participants achieve better physical health, better mental health and greater social inclusion.

Our ambitionThe community sector trusts us. The sport and recreation sectors choose us. Participants join us and benefit immensely.
