Year 3&4 

The Year 3&4 students have started to explore their new topic of heat this term. Students began their learning by collaboratively brainstorming their prior knowledge about heat and then recorded a question they were curious about for the classroom wonder wall. Students explored how they move when they have low and high energy. They then observed an experiment that used different water temperatures to visually see how heat energy changes with temperature. 

Year 5&6 

The Year 5&6 students have begun to learn about the topic of light this term. Students started by recording their prior knowledge about light and then created a question for the wonder wall in the classroom. They then learned about natural and artificial light sources and sorted examples of light sources to demonstrate their knowledge.
