AGTV German Poetry Competition State Finals

On Saturday, 24th August, four of our talented students represented Vermont Secondary School at the AGTV German Poetry Competition State Finals, held at the Austrian Club in West Heidelberg. To qualify for this event, students had to first proceed through class, school and regional finals. At the state finals, our students showcased their linguistic abilities against students from across Victoria in this prestigious event.

Our students participated in the following categories: Year 9 DaF:  Xinchen X and Anna P Lower Secondary Open (7/8): Alex M, Year 9 Open: Jitho J 

All of our students performed exceptionally well, demonstrating confidence and passion in their recitations, and represented the school with pride. We are thrilled to announce that Jitho J, one of our Year 9 students, won first place in the highly competitive Year 9 Open Category. His outstanding performance captivated the judges and audience, and we are incredibly proud of his achievement.
