On the 26th of August, Vermont Secondary College had their Community Focus Day. This terms charity was ‘Art Access Australia’ who raises funds for people with disabilities to create and produce arts. Their vision is ‘A future where every Australian has equality of opportunity to participate in, and contribute to, arts and culture fully, effectively, meaningfully and equitably.

WEAR IT PURPLE day 2024
On 30th August the VSC school community celebrated 'Wear it Purple' Day, an international celebration to foster an inclusive future for all young people.
By wearing purple, we demonstrate to all LBGBTQIA+ young people in the school community that they are celebrated, respected and have the right to be proud of who they are and who they are becoming.
Friday 13th September - Cycle 3 Reports released to parents and Student Progress Conferences (SPC) Bookings for Years 7 – 12 open at 4pm. Both are accessible via the COMPASS Parent Portal on the college website - https://www.vermontsc.vic.edu.au/
Thursday 19th September - Student Progress Conferences Cycle 3 – Students do not attend formal classes on this day but are required to attend the online Conference with their parents/guardians.

A reminder to the school community that on the last day of Term Three, Friday 20th September, we have a 2:30 pm finish.
School resumes for Term Four on Monday 7th October with the term concluding on Friday 20th December.
YEAR 12 SEPTEMBER PRACTICE EXAMS
All students completing a Unit 3 / 4 subject will be required to complete practice exams at school in the first week of the Term 3 holidays (Monday 23rd - Friday 27th of September). A comprehensive exam schedule has been provided to students in Term 3. These exams give students valuable experience testing their key knowledge and skills under timed exam conditions and the opportunity to receive valuable feedback from their teachers.
