Physical Education and Health

Vermont Secondary College

In a paws-itively delightful twist on their physical education curriculum, Year 11 students set off for Terrara Park, not just with their usual gear, but with their furry friends in tow. This tail-wagging outing was more than just a walk in the park; it was an opportunity to fetch data on how canine companions can boost human activity levels.

As students unleashed their dogs and hit the trails, they discovered that having a dog along for the walk added an extra leash of motivation, turning a simple stroll into a

wag-tastic adventure.

The students observed that the dogs’ boundless energy and playful antics had them moving more briskly and with greater enthusiasm, proving that pets truly are a pawsome way to stay active and healthy.
