Principal Update

Welcome back to Term 4. 

I trust you had a nice break spending time with family and friends.

We have another busy term ahead. Highlights will include, the Colour Run, 2025 Prep Transition, P/1 Twilight Night, Yr 2 Sleep Over, Junior Swimming Program (1/2's), and the Yr 5 Camp - just to name a few. 

Please keep up to date with your Compass App as there are also many excursions and incursions that teachers will be seeking consent for throughout the term.

As the weather warms up, we remind you of our Sun Smart Policy. All students should be wearing a hat when outside and will be asked to sit in the shade if they do not have one. A reminder to please label hats clearly.

The APS Colour Run is gaining momentum, and we thank those families who have supported their children set up an online profile. More details on how to do this are later in this newsletter. Martha has let me know that we are sitting close to $7000 raised. An amazing start!

Many students have approached me to start fundraising initiatives and activities this year. I am impressed by how community minded our students are and how they are always thinking of others. Well done to those students who have organised these this year.
