Department of Education - Practise Fire Drills and Lockdown
ON SITE EVACUATION DRILL 2024
Dear WNPS Families,
Safety in Place Drill took place on Thursday 29th August. This drill went very smoothly.
During the school day we will be having a lockdown drill. This drill will be an onsite drill.
The Department of Education requirements WNPS participate in practise drills (either evacuation or lockdown) each term so that teachers, students and volunteers can become familiar and comfortable with what happens in the event of an actual evacuation or lockdown event.
The scheduled Term 4 Drill will be on Tuesday 14th November and this drill be be a Lockdown.
