Term 3 Week 9

Assistant Principal's Report

Message From Shevani Moodley

Term 3 - Week 9

Dear Families,

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we got this edition of our newsletter out later than we would have hoped. The end of term is certainly a very busy time and we’re also managing many staff illnesses and absences.

This year, the Junior School Council are facilitating Jump Rope for Heart on Thursday 12th September. Please see Jamie Peter’s update and posters around the school for more information about how you can get involved.

Loud Shirt Day takes place on Friday 18th October and we wear it loud for kids with hearing loss.

We welcomed back our Grade Threes from their camp to Phillip Island on Friday and I’m sure there were plenty of fun, exciting stories after their first camp. We have the Grade Fours off to camp next term and there’s no doubt that the excitement is already building!

Your flexibility and patience in supporting the management of teacher absence has been very much appreciated. We will continue to support the learning and wellbeing outcomes of all our students as best we can.

Please have a safe, fun, and relaxing holiday and we look forward to seeing you for an action packed Term Four.

R U OK?

R U OK? Day is Thursday, 12 September 2024, our annual National Day of Action, and a reminder that any day is the day to check in with your friends, family and colleagues.
