Group 3

Term 3 has been an eventful and fun filled time for group 3. We focused on learning all about transport throughout this term. We also saw the introduction of the STAR program into our classroom, which has been a sure favourite. 

We have celebrated some of our classmates’ birthdays, science week, book week and principals’ day. During science week, we explored the planetarium dome and planting seeds into pots. We watched as they grew within the classroom and then transferred them into the school garden. Book week included a virtual performance of “That Bird Has Arms”, the wellbeing music show, a dress up day and a parade. For principals’ day, everyone got involved in creating a gratitude card for Lindy and Sandra. We visited their offices, where we were thrilled to bump into Lindy’s dog. 

During group circle, we explored our theme of transport and focused on pointing as a form of communication. Some of group 3 focused on using their AAC devices throughout their school day. 

We are very proud of how much everyone has achieved this year and cannot believe we are entering our final term of this year. Wishing everyone a safe and restful school break.
