Group 13

Sages Cottage

Throughout this term, some senior students from Group 13 have been given the wonderful opportunity to participate in exploration and work experience sessions at Sages Cottage - Wallara’s 38-acre heritage listed property on the Mornington Peninsula.

Sages Cottage is a working farm that also provides educational programs and employment pathways. Our students really enjoyed participating in a wide range of programs requiring different skills, including Horticulture and Plant Care, Woodworking and Craft, and Garden Maintenance. 

A highlight for many of our students was the time they spent feeding and looking after various farm animals, including ponies, sheep, goats, chicken, and even some pigs.
