Dear Parents and Carers of Year 6,

On behalf of your teachers here at Oak Flats Public School, we congratulate you on finishing your primary school journey and wish you much success as you embark on your high school adventure. 

We hope that you take all the memories and learnings that came with primary school, embracing them and using them to help you move forward in life, being the best versions of yourselves, always!

It has been wonderful watching you grow into the amazing, unique individuals that you have become and we hope you cherish how different and special each and everyone of you is.

I'll leave you with some final words of advice that may (or may not) help you in life:

• Always, ALWAYS be you - you are awesome just the way you are.
• Tone of voice is everything - know the right tone for the situation!
• If you try you will fail, if you DO you will succeed (I got that one from someone else!)
• Choose your own adventure - but always know the consequences.
• Be kind, it’ll get you far!
