University Guidance and Career Counselling at SIS Surabaya

Are you an Upper Secondary to Junior College student who is still unsure of the career path to take? Are you a parent who is anxious about the whole university search and application process? At SIS, we measure our success based on the successful placement of our students into the universities that they deserve.

On Monday, 20 November, Mr Jeremias Sampang, Jr. (Group University Guidance Counsellor, SIS Group of Schools) will visit SIS Surabaya and introduce BridgeU to our Upper Secondary and Junior College Students. 

We use BridgeU, a guidance portal that our students will use to research and apply to university destinations worldwide. BridgeU generates recommendations that are personalised to your child’s own strengths and interests. 

In addition, as part of our curriculum here at SIS Surabaya, we have campus counselors who will explore career opportunities with students and nurture the acquisition of skills that will enable them to make a successful transition to higher education. 

With our career counseling program, students at SIS Surabaya will be able to find the best-fit universities based on their profile to any education destination, locally or abroad.

We are delighted to showcase the different performances of our Secondary and Junior College students at our Christmas celebration on 30 November 2023 at the Pakuwon Mall. Join us for a festive celebration with the theme “Give Love on Christmas Day”, where love and the joy of learning come together!

Witness the emerging and blooming performance skills of SIS Surabaya students. The Secondary and Junior College Performances kick off the festivities from 16:00 - 18:00, right after the performances from our preschoolers. Don't miss the holiday cheer and talent on display!"

In the spirit of Christmas and the joy of giving, our community is coming together to share the spirit of love and generosity by donating to our chosen school PAUD & SDTK PELITA PERMAI as part of SIS - Surabaya CSR. This heartwarming celebration involves collecting donations from students, parents, and staff who wish to make a positive impact on the lives of students and educators. These donations, ranging from school supplies to festive treats, will be shared with our chosen school to enhance their holiday season. The act of giving not only spreads holiday cheer but also fosters a sense of unity and compassion within our community. This Christmas celebration embodies the true essence of the season, emphasising the joy that comes from sharing and caring for one another.

On the other hand, our students are getting ready for an unforgettable Christmas party filled with festive delights! Our celebration is set to be a joyous occasion, brimming with delicious food, exciting games, and the spirit of gift-giving.
