3G Mass

Congratulations to 3G and Mrs Murphy for the lovely Mass they lead last week Friday for the feast of St. Elizabeth of Hungary. 

KD Prayer Celebration

This Friday, KD will be leading the INfants Prayer Celebration at Sacred Heart Church. The theme for their prayer is God's Creations. All families and friends are welcome to attend the Prayer Celebration at 9:15am at Sacred Heart Church.

Please do not bring drinks or food into the church. Thank you.

Secondary Lap-A-Thon

Congratulations and thank you to everyone who supported and sponsored our secondary students for their annual Lap-A-Thon. The money raised will go towards our donation at the end of the year to St Vincent de Paul. All the students - and teachers - had a great time dressing up, the costumes were great!

Year 10 - Copeton Dam

Next week Monday, 27 November to 29 November, Year 10 students will be involved in a retreat style few days reflecting on their time together as a cohort, memories, talking about their hopes and fears for the future and they will complete a Friendship booklet for one another. The Year 10 students will also take part in the Sacrament of Reconciliation on Tuesday evening. Students will be travelling to Copeton Dam on Monday and depart from school on a bus at 9:30am. We will return Wednesday at around 11am. There is more information for families on Compass.

Festive Foods

Each year we support our local St vincent de Paul Society by  donating money collected from our annual Coin Drop, 13 December, and the Secondary Lap-A-Thon. We also give non-perishable festive food items donated by you, our generous families, to contribute to hampers given out by SVDP to families in our local community in need. We are asking for donations of non-perishable festive food items over the coming weeks. These will be given to SVDP at our Thanksgiving Mass on Thursday 14 December. Families are welcome to begin bringing in donations to their classes.

Are you a young person who would like to start 2024 in an amazing environment of faith, prayer, fun and fellowship? The Immaculata Mission School is running from 1-6 January in Armidale for those aged 14 & up. The Mission School includes awesome speakers on the Catholic faith, daily Mass, times of prayer, praise & worship, games, share groups & more.
