Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) Update
We are proud to share the continued progress of our First Nations work across the school, led by Felicity (ACEO). Her dedication, initiative, and strong presence across the school have been outstanding, as she works closely with both students and staff to build relationships and continue to implement cultural perspectives into our learning and school environment.
Students across all year levels have been engaging in a range of rich and meaningful learning experiences. These include creating class Acknowledgement of Country, exploring First Nations Dreaming Stories such as How the Birds Got Their Colours, The Rainbow Serpent, and How the Kangaroo got their tails? Students have also participated in Imagination Station activities in Reception, creek walks across several classes, Culture Beats sessions with our Year 4–6 First Nations students, and ongoing learning in our garden and Cultural Hub spaces.
To capture and celebrate this journey, we will begin developing a scrapbook that documents our ongoing work and growth as a school community.
