PLT's in Term 2 - Cognitive Load Theory

There are many Cognitive Load Theory  effects which can be considered when planning and delivering learning.

  • Element Interactivity

Tailoring lessons to students existing knowledge and skills, to strike the balance between too much and too little information. Teachers should aim to increase the complexity of the task to challenge their students, gradually to prevent cognitive overload.
