Selamat siang,
What a great start to our term! Two whole weeks of swimming and 3-way conferences. Thanks to all our families for booking a time to see what your child has been learning about and is proud of so far this year.
In Literacy, students have been exploring our class text "Uncle Xbox" and exploring Australian history. They have been able to do some research and write factual paragraphs about what they have learnt. This connected to Guided Inquiry when we learnt about key figures in the Federation of Australia.
In Mathematics, students have been exploring multiplicative patterns and algorithms. This has included exploring ways to find missing numbers in patterns and how patterns can help us solve multiplication problems.
Stay warm and have a wonderful week,
Kathy, Ros, Julia, Mandy, Suzie and Emily.
