At the end of Term 2, we all participated in ‘Indonesian Day’. It was such a fun way to celebrate our LOTE focus, as well as recognising all of the learning they had done over the past few months. Below are some of our students’ reflections about the day.
It was great. I learnt a lot of things about Indonesia. It was an amazing time to have with Yarra Road. Sampai Jumpa!

Indonesian Day was so fun. We did a photo shoot and we did fun activities. They were all so fun, like the kahoot and heaps of other things. I learnt so much new stuff and I had a great time and I loved hanging out with my friends and teachers.

Indonesian Day was filled with some amazing and fun activities, like an indonesian photo shoot and a cool word search. I loved it and it was really interesting. I got to do a kahoot and to finish it off some fun and funny of orangutan colouring pages.

It was Indonesian Day! I was so happy that I forgot to wear red and white. When I got to school at first it was a normal day and after recess we went into the Indonesian classroom. We were going to have our photos taken! After we had our photos taken we went into our classroom to learn the geography of Indonesia. It was so fun.
- Raghav S
It was pretty cool that we got to take AWESOME photos with 3 backgrounds that you could choose from. Lylah, Mitchell and I chose the prettiest one and the teacher took the photo. It was really fun.
