DECORATE YOUR BIKE FOR INDONESIAN INDEPENDENCE DAY!

You can decorate your bike or other chosen set of wheels (scooter, trike, roller skates …) for a traditional Independence Day activity- the decorated bike parade!

When: Lunch time Friday 16 August (one day before Independence Day)

Where: On the basketball court at BNWP

How: Be as creative as you like! Weaving coloured crepe paper streamers, cloth, tinsel or ribbons through the spokes is always popular. Indonesia’s colours red and white are popular. Or make your bike look like something else? Co-ordinate with your helmet. Co-ordinate with a sibling or a friend – go nuts – let’s celebrate!

We will also have a special traditional activity for parents to participate in at assembly!
