Purpose I Positive Emotions I Relationships I Meaning I Accomplishment
As part of Hampton's whole school Wellbeing curriculum, the children will continue to uphold our school norms of Collaboration, Aspiration, Integrity and Resilience.
Children will continue to work on their emotional literacy supported by The Resilience Rights and Respectful Relationships Program.
This program teaches students to use simple techniques and activities to help them learn how their emotions influence and shape their learning and enables them to identify and talk openly about their feelings in certain situations. Students will be involved in open discussions based around problem solving, stress management, positive play and friendships. In Week 5 we will be looking at Cybersafety and Digital wellbeing using a new platform called Inform and Empower.
Students will be introduced to the Zones of Regulation and be encouraged to explain how they might feel and what they might do if they're in the blue, green, yellow or red zone.
We will also continue to focus on using the 3 Step Telling Rule.
