Book Club - Issue 3
Magazines for Issue 3 of Book Club will be home soon.
Every purchase from the Scholastic Book Club not only gives your child wonderful educational resources at home, but also contributes to the school Library collection which benefits all of the school children.
There are 4 ways to order:
1. By credit card using LOOP, where you complete the book order and pay online – nothing needs to be sent back to school
2. Credit card over the phone, you still need to complete an order form & return it to school with the 11-digit receipt number
3. Cash (correct money) in an envelope with the completed order form
4. Cheque (made payable to Scholastic Australia) with the completed order form
Orders are due back to school by Friday 8 May, with delivery around one week later.
Big Group Hug
Every child deserves to feel warm and comfortable. Unfortunately, many children in our community are living without the most basic necessities - warm clothing and bedding. This is where you come in!
We’re asking the RPS community to donate new and pre-loved winter clothing and bed linen for children aged 1-16 (sizes 3-16 most needed) for distribution to the families Big Group Hug supports in the cold winter months, and year-round.
Donations can be dropped off at the office.
ANZAC Appeal
From next Monday 30 March, JSC representatives will be coming around to each class every day, giving students and teachers the opportunity to purchase the following, in the lead up to ANZAC Day on April 25th.
- Badges for $1, $2 and $5
- Wristbands for $3
- Bag tags for $4
- Pens for $5
These items can also be purchased at the office and all funds go towards the ANZAC Appeal. Thank you for supporting an important cause.
Cross Country -
GRADES 3 - 6, PARENT HELPERS NEEDED!
As the school gears up for our upcoming cross-country event, we would like your help to help with marshalling on the day.
Grades: 3-6
Date: Tuesday 28th April (Term 2, Week 2)
Time: 8.50am - 11.00 am
Your role as a parent helper will involve guiding and directing students along the designated course, cheering them on, and ensuring their safety throughout the event. Your presence and support will not only contribute to the success of the cross-country event but will also create a positive and encouraging atmosphere for our young athletes. All helpers need to hold a working with children’s card and have completed the school induction. (Our wonderful Ally in the office can assist you)
If you can help out, please email me at kelli.zealley@education.vic.gov.au I will provide further details closer to the date.
