Kitchen Garden

This rotation the students in 3/4 learnt about the 5 elements of taste. Practising their knife skills and utilising fresh Chinese cabbage, broad beans and mint from our OOPS Garden, the students created a delicious crunchy Vietnamese salad.
We explored cutting techniques such as slicing, dicing and shredding, we also explored how we can balance flavours.
