Duke of Edinburgh

In term 4, Bronze Duke of Edinburgh participants recently completed their Adventurous Journey at Wooglemai Environmental Education Centre. They demonstrated resilience, teamwork, and a positive attitude throughout. The program began with the Box Vale Walking Track in Mittagong, where students navigated bushland trails, historic cuttings, and tunnel sections while building their navigation and problem-solving skills.

Back at Wooglemai, students took part in archery, challenging themselves to develop accuracy, focus, and persistence. The journey concluded with kayaking along the Nepean River, giving students the chance to explore the local environment from the water while practising safe paddling and cooperation.

It was a fantastic experience that allowed students to step outside their comfort zones and grow as individuals and as a group.

Thank you Mr Sharp and Miss Dempsey for supervising our students on their adventurous journey.
