School P&C Association Closure Notice

We wish to inform our school community that the Elderslie High School P&C Association will officially close at the end of this year. This decision has not been made lightly. Over recent years, poor attendance and limited volunteer numbers have placed a significant strain on the very small group of dedicated members who continued to support fundraising, make formal decisions, and carry out essential P&C responsibilities.

At our meeting held on Tuesday 4th November, the Executive Team unanimously voted for closure, recognising that the current structure is no longer sustainable. As a result, from Term 1 next year, the school will no longer have an operating P&C Association.

While we are sad to see the P&C come to an end, we want to emphasise that any parent or caregiver is welcome to re-form a new P&C in the future. If interest grows or circumstances change, the opportunity remains open for a new group of parents to re-establish the Association.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has attended meetings, volunteered, supported events, or contributed in any way over the many years the P&C has been active. Your time, effort, and commitment has made a meaningful difference to our school community.

Although the P&C will close, parents and carers can still offer general support and assistance to the school throughout the year, and your involvement will always be valued.
