Makers Market - Friday 12th Feb

On Friday 12th December the Year 5 students will be opening the Annual Makers Market. Students have been budgeting, marketing and preparing a range of items and services  to sell. Each year level will have the opportunity to attend the Makers Market on Friday. If you would like your child to purchase something, please bring up to $5. All items are priced between $1 - $5.

REMINDER - SRC News - DRESS UP DAY!

Hi APS Parents and Guardians!

We have a new upcoming event on Friday 12th of December, it’s our ‘2025 Dress Up as Your Dream Job Day! 

This day is an opportunity to learn about other people’s careers, and maybe even learn about some new future jobs! Other than dressing up it will be a regular school day for the students. 

Some students might not be too familiar with careers, especially the younger years, so do a bit of research for some future jobs, or tell them a little bit about yours! Throughout the day students can share all about their jobs with their friends. Remember there are only so many jobs in the world so, don’t worry if someone has the same costume as you. 

SRC reps will be going around taking photos of people’s awesome costumes, but if you don’t want to be in the photo that’s ok. These photos will be put up around the school classrooms or yard. Please don’t spend money on the outfit, maybe try using some old clothes, instead of fast fashion. Kindly remind your child to dress up as their dream job, and make sure your child’s outfit is appropriate, and comfortable. Don't stress about the costume just yet, because there is plenty of time before the big day. 

As SRC’s we would like this to be a relaxed and environmentally friendly experience. If you're the type of person who is unsure about their future dream job you can choose a hobby or activity that interests you instead. Hope you have an amazing day!
