Science Week 

To celebrate Science Week this year each Stage has participated in a variety of science experiments. The aim was for students to enjoy hands on learning and have some scientific fun. 

Stage 3 Whale Snot Investigation & visit to               St Mary’s Science Lab

Students were Marine biologists and had to analyse "whale snot" to work out if the whale is healthy based on some chemical tests and observations. They worked with Year 9 and 10 St Mary’s students. Thank you to the St Mary’s Science Department for providing our students with fantastic opportunity. 

Stage 2 Bridge Building and Ozobot Challenge

Year 3 and 4 students spent the afternoon designing tracks for their Ozobots and built newspaper bridges for a variety of purposes (strength, speed, length).

K-2 Science Rotations

Students from Kindergarten to Year 2 rotated through hands on science experiments. There were bubbles, magic milk, pepper separation and Beebots.
