Years 7-12 Subject Information Evening
Our Years 7-12 Subject Information Evening was a resounding success, providing an insightful overview of the academic programs and subject options available to students. Attendees had the opportunity to engage with our knowledgeable teaching staff, who detailed the curriculum, elective choices and assessment methods for each year group. Parents and students gained valuable information on how to navigate the educational pathway effectively and how to leverage the school's resources for academic success. The evening also highlighted the supportive environment at Leighland Christian School, reinforcing our commitment to fostering student growth and achievement. Overall, it was a productive and informative event that helped families make well-informed decisions about their educational journey.
Ben Lomond National Park
Our recent Senior Outdoor Leadership camp to Ben Lomond National Park was an unforgettable experience! With perfect snow conditions, students had the ideal setting to rapidly advance their skiing and snowboarding skills. The determination, motivation and courage displayed by our students was truly inspiring. This camp was an exceptional opportunity to experience the best of what Tasmania has to offer in winter, and we couldn't be prouder of everyone who participated.
Term 3 Playgroup
The first day back for Term 3 at the Ulverstone Campus Playgroup was a lively and joyful occasion, marking a fresh start after the break. Children eagerly reunited with friends and reengaged with their favorite activities, from imaginative play to hands-on crafts. The day featured a mix of familiar and new activities designed to stimulate creativity and social interaction. Overall, it was a successful and energising beginning to the term, setting a positive tone for the weeks ahead.

Congratulations to our High School girls volleyball team for their two back to back wins this week!
Birthday Cupcakes at the Canteen
Parents and guardians can now order birthday cupcakes for their child or the child’s classroom on the QKR app. Beautifully decorated in vanilla flavoring. Gluten free and vegan options are also available.
Set price of $3.50 per cupcake; orders for the whole classroom only.

A reminder to families to please update the year level in your Qkr app for your child/ren. This will assist our Canteen staff to have your child/ren’s orders delivered to the correct class.
