We are thrilled to share some exciting news with you! As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting our students and their families in navigating the digital age, we would like to provide each Primary family at our Ulverstone Campus (Burnie have received theirs) with a copy of Daniel Sih’s insightful book, Raising Tech-Healthy Humans.

In this engaging and practical guide, Daniel Sih addresses one of the most pressing issues of our time – how to raise children who are not only proficient in using technology, but also healthy and balanced in their digital consumption. Sih offers valuable strategies and advice on setting boundaries, fostering meaningful connections, and encouraging healthy tech habits that align with our values as a school community.

We believe that this book will be a valuable resource to help create a harmonious balance between the benefits of technology and the importance of real-life interactions and activities. By working together, we can help our children grow to be well-rounded, resilient and tech-savvy individuals.

Books will be distributed to each Ulverstone Primary family in the coming days. We hope you find it as enlightening and useful as we have. Let’s embark on this journey together to raise tech-healthy humans!

Warm regards,

Cassie Miles
