MASH Speech Success

Congratulations to Benson (1st) and Aurelia (3rd) in their MASH speaking contest last night! We are very proud of their efforts- MASSIVE shout out to Ms Trounson  and Mr Parkins for giving up their Tuesday night to support the Robbie Mac kids in their speeches- your contributions to the Robbie Mac team are outstanding!  😊 

Book Week Author Visit

 On Thursday the 29th of August, author Lynne Jones visited our Foundation, Grade 1 and Grade 2 students to share her passion for writing and her beautiful picture story book “Folding Socks”, illustrated by her son. 

It is a story about growth mindset, lifelong learning and the way knowledge is passed down through families. 

 Attached is a flyer with more information about the book and link to a bookstore where Lynne’s book can be purchased. 

Book Week Author Visit

On Friday the 30th of August, author Ross Curnow visited our school to share his passion for writing and his recently published, hilarious children's novel 

"Oscar vs The Grand Old Dude Named York". 

He spoke to the children about developing ideas into a story, writing and publishing a book. 

Ross's book will be available to purchase through Compass (Course Confirmation) for $16.99.

Any orders after August 26th will be delivered to the school and you will be notified to collect it from the office. Purchase of the book is entirely optional.
