REMINDER: VTAC SEAS and Scholarships applications open for current Year 12s

All Year 12 Domestic students are eligible to apply to SEAS Category 1 in their VTAC account and need to check other SEAS categories to see if they’re eligible and what evidence is required. VTAC SEAS and Scholarships applications close 11 October (5pm) but supporting evidence should be uploaded to VTAC by 20 September (last day of Term 3) to allow time for VTAC to review these documents. Year 12s must carefully follow the instructions given by VTAC as they work through completing their SEAS and Scholarships applications to start organising any supporting documents requested by VTAC. The VTAC website has important advice about providing evidence and getting a statement of support which requires the student to give the person writing the supporting statement this Providing statement of support factsheet so they know what to do.

A REMINDER to Year 12s to submit a VTAC course application now to gain access to the SEAS and Scholarships applications in their VTAC account and to pay the minimal fee of $60 by 30 September (instead of a late fee from $150 to $195). After submitting a course application Year 12s can go back in to their VTAC account to change the courses listed and resubmit their course application as many times as needed up to close of Change of Preference on 14 December 2024 (except early closing courses). Year 12s are to use the VTAC app info tab and other VTAC applications resources in the Careers channel on Teams for guidance on applying through VTAC.
