3 - 6 ICAS Assessments

A huge congratulations to the students in Years 3 - 6 who participated in the English ICAS assessments. You should all be so proud of yourself. I look forward to sharing the results when they arrive.

 

ICAS Maths is coming up in Week 7. Good Luck to the students sitting this assessment.

How exciting!! The Premiers’ Reading Challenge for 2024 is up and running!

Holy Spirit has read 1170 books and 17 of our students have finished the challenge! WOW WOW WOW!! Keep reading everyone :)

It is not too late to take part in the challenge. All login information and usernames can be found in the class announcement message section of each classroom dojo page and via Operoo.

Book Week 2024

Friday 30th August is Holy Spirit's Book Week dress up day. We invite all of our students to come dressed up as their favourite book character, author or within this year's theme of 'Reading is Magic'.

 

We will showcase all of our costumes and learning at our assembly at 9:00am on this day.

 

Students will take part in a variety of activities throughout this day and week.

 

Key Dates for Learning & Teaching 

  • 26th - 30th August - BOOK WEEK
  • 29th August - Yr 3 excursion (ACMI)
  • 30th August - Book Week Dres Up Day

Assembly

Assembly will be held each Friday at 2:30pm in the school hall. All dates for Assembly this term are on the Holy Spirit School Calendar.

T3 Specialist Timetable

We have lots of changes to the timetable for this term. We will endeavour to share an updated timetable, via our School Dojo account, each week.

Library

Our students will visit the library each week and borrow. Students need to bring their library bag to school on their library day to borrow. The timetable for this term is below:

The library will be open each Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday morning from 8:35 - 8:50am.
