Space Camp USA

Students are being given the opportunity to go to Space Camp in Huntsville Alabama in 2025. 

We are opening this opportunity to 15 to 20 students over the age of 15 from Year 9 to Year 12 (in 2025).

The cost per student is approx.$10000 and we will be looking at doing a lot of fundraising as well as asking for local scholarship. This cost includes their flights, meals, accommodation, the cost for Space Camp attendance for a week and any tours that we do as a part of the experience.

Draft itinerary is as follows: 

Travel to the USA on approximately the 1st July 2025 and head to the Johnson Space Centre in Houston, Texas to tour the centre and to enable the students ears to adjust after the long flight which is a requirement for Space Camp. 

From Houston, we will travel to Huntsville, Alabama where Space Camp is held.

Space Camp is approximately 7 days and we will then fly to Los Angeles and if possible go to Disneyland as a treat at the end of their adventure before coming home. The majority of the time that we are away will be during the July school holidays.

I am trying to obtain as many grants and Sponsorships as possible to reduce the students costs as much as possible.

An expression of Interest form will need to be submitted.
