Basketball

Bobcats Basketball Club are seeking new players! 

All new players are welcome but they have new Under 8 and Under 10 teams waiting for new ballers. If you are interested in joining a team or would like a trial please email frankstonbobcats@gmail.com. 

Soccer 

Baxter Soccer Club has a Term 4 Clinic coming up in October. There is limited availability for Under 10's but they do have spaces left in ages 10 and over.  This is a great opportunity to try something new, improve your skills and make some new friends. Please see the attached flyer for more information.  

Cricket 

The weather is warming up and that means cricket season is fast approaching. Frankston YCW is a local club looking for new members.  If you are interested please phone Shane Szwaja 0423 711 006 or send an email to sszwaja.frankstonycw@outlook.com

Community Grants

The Frankston City Council's Community Grants Program are offering child and youth inclusion grants for 2024-2025. Grants are offered under two catagories. 

Educational and Pathway Catagory 

For students transitioning to high school, currently in high school (or equivalent) or pursuing higher education (up to 24 years old) that require assistance with materials, equipment or course fees for their education or career aspirations, they offer funding of up to $600

Recreational Category 

For children aged between 5 and 18 seeking to participate in a recreational activity, they can cover 75% of the associated fees or up to $200.00.

Who can apply?

Young individuals themselves (if under 18, parent or guardian information will be required); or  Professionals such as support workers, healthcare providers or approved equivalent can apply on behalf of young individuals facing financial hardship.

How to apply?

Submit your application online through Frankston City Council SmartyGrants website on https://frankston.smartygrants.com.au and create an account if you don’t already have one.
