MATHS 

This week we started a unit on measurement. The students have been engaging in a variety of hands-on activities that have helped them to measure accurately and convert between related units of measurement. 

Writing

The students have been working on writing slam poems about a topic of their choice. They are revising them now and practising playing around with their tone, pace and pitch to make the most impact on their audience. 

Some of the students will be performing their slam poetry at our assembly next Tuesday at 2:30. It would be great to see you there!

Education in Faith 

Last week, the students spent time analysing the Parable of the Lost Sheep. We discussed the message that the parable was trying to teach us and considered how this message relates to us today. 

The students then created artwork that depicted the message of the Parable. Here are some examples of what they did.
