Splish! Splash!
Year 4 have been making a splash at the North Melbourne pool this week as we dive into our swimming lessons. Thankfully the weather has been perfect for a dip in the cool pool.
This is what we thought about the program:
Splash! I feel bubbles as trapped air goes past me, like schools of fish are passing by. I put my head above water to take a breath and feel the cold breeze swirl around my face. By Pareen.
In swimming we have been doing all types of strokes like backstroke, chicken, star, soldier and also freestyle. We have been diving into the pool and having heaps of fun. By Marley.
Splash! I leapt into the freezing water as the swim teacher told us about what to do. When swimming I raced to the other side as quickly as a dolphin. I am looking forward to my swimming lesson today. By Raj.
