Community Mapping 

Students had the joy of experiencing a mapping incursion run by the talented folk at North Melbourne's Meat Market exhibition, titled "Irregular." In class groups, they looked at a map of our local community.  

With different colours, they mapped the location of their houses, the places they felt safe and the places they felt were dangerous for them to explore. 

They then marked which areas they would make green with trees and they wrote on postcards what they wanted to improve. 

This was a wonderful for the students to explore their community with their peers.
