Swimming - survival backstroke and butterfly
By Ella, Year 6 student
School swimming in North Melbourne was a fun experience, but the burning heat was by far the biggest challenge. The outdoor pool was great for cooling off, but the walk to and from the pool in the scorching sun made it very hard! By the time we got there, we were already sweating, so the time we had in the pool was deeply cherished. Despite the heat, the swimming itself was enjoyable, and it was a nice break from the usual classroom routine. It was also nice to see people learn new skills such as survival backstroke and butterfly!
