Principal's Message
Mr Stephen Mahoney
I provide the following details on behalf of Fr James on a very significant event in the life of our College Parish.
On Friday, 28 June 2024 at 6:30pm St Aloysius Catholic Church, Cronulla will celebrate its centenary with a special Mass to be celebrated by The Archbishop of Sydney Most Rev. Anthony Fisher OP.
Could I strongly encourage our Cronulla families to attend this most significant occasion.
Following the Mass, festivities will continue in the St Aloysius Parish Grounds and Thornton Hall.
Please RSVP by emailing admin@cronullacatholic.org.au
I would like to thank the many parents/students that attended the interviews during the last week here at the College. The conversations and feedback centred around these interviews is critically important.
I have asked our teaching staff to follow up any parents that were unavailable on the night, so please expect a phone call/email so you can discuss the progress of your daughter/son from this first report.
We would like to invite you to complete the Tell Them From Me (TTFM) Partners in Learning survey. As we value the role of parents and carers within our school community we would greatly appreciate your feedback. The information you provide will be used to maintain our commitment to working together in partnership to further improve student learning and wellbeing at St Aloysius College, Cronulla.
The survey is anonymous and will take approximately 20 minutes to complete. You are able to access the parent survey on your computer or mobile device by using the URL below:

Today our College completes another milestone as a new Years 7-12 College by celebrating our Athletics carnival. So much work has gone into the planning of this carnival at Sylvania Waters and I would like to take the opportunity to thank Mr Nathan Smith & Mrs Sarah Fox (and the entire College staff) for their support of this event. I am sure more reports/social media will be forthcoming from this carnival.
From Anthony Cleary - Director - Mission and Identity Directorate - SCS
On Thursday, 20 June, SCS Director Anthony Cleary will participate in the annual CEO Winter Sleepout organised by Vinnies. This event specifically raises money for those who are homeless.
Anthony is representing the 147 schools of our system. By doing this, parents and friends of our schools are invited to support him in his fundraising. Every dollar raised can make a huge difference to the lives of those in need.
Anthony first became involved in social outreach to the homeless when he was studying to become a teacher. That was in 1984, and he has been involved ever since.
Should you wish to know more, or to support Anthony in his fundraising efforts, please go to direct link
Your consideration of this worthy cause is greatly appreciated.
As always… Up Up Cronulla !!!
God Bless…
