Murrup Spirit
Congratulations to the CSPS Community for the fabulous Dances through the decades concert on Friday night. CSPS showed their true spirit from the team who delivered the concert, the students who performed and the community who attended. The Frankston Arts Centre staff commented on what a lovely community we are and it made me feel so proud.
What was your favourite part of the night? Was it the -
- brave Year 6 students speaking in front of 800 people?
- Foundations rocking away?
- caring student who helped others whilst on the stage?
- smiles on the performers or parents faces?
As I said on the night, an event such as this does not just happen and I would like to thank Mrs Danger and her team, the staff and students for their dedication and practice and the families for the effort with the costumes.
A video and photos will be available for purchase very soon. I have seen a sneak peek and it all looks fabulous. Stay tuned for the Compass post.

Uniform Blitz
As we finish up Term 3 and head into Term 4, I would like to remind students and families of the uniform expectations at CSPS. Many students have been coming to school for successive days out of uniform, wearing pyjamas and lots of different hats.
When students are dressed in the same clothing, it reduces the pressure to conform to fashion trends and can help them focus on their studies. It can also improve their sense of belonging and create a more positive school environment. School uniforms can also save students and parents time and money.
We understand that there may be times when it proves impossible to be in uniform. Please send a notice via Compass if this is necessary. Student dress code breach notices will be sent home via Compass for repeat offenders.
No Hat No Play
As per our Sun Protection Policy - ratified by School Council 2024, we ask that families now consider sun protection measures on a daily basis.
Families are encouraged to access
the SunSmart widget on the CSPS website, sunsmart.com.au or bom.gov.au to determine when students should be wearing their hats during outdoor activities.
If a student is not wearing a hat during the
times that it is recommended, they will be required to be in an undercover area. Hats can be ordered from C-Me Uniform. via the CSPS website.
Non-school hats will be accepted for a short while in allowance for the purchase of the school required hat. Please ensure all hats are wide brimmed to provide adequate sun protection.
Farewell Delvina Waiti
We would like to offer congratulations to Mrs Delvina Waiti on her recent appointment as Assistant Principal at Lyndhurst Primary School. Delvina will be starting at Lyndhurst Primary School in Term 4. We wish her the best of luck.
