Students across all grades have enjoyed various indoor and outdoor activities to celebrate our final Mandarin sessions of the first semester.
Foundations enjoyed playing Bolang-Gu (Pellet Drum) outside the classroom after having played 陀螺 (tuóluó), traditional Chinese spinning tops.
Jackstones and hacky sacks were introduced to Grade 1/2 students for the first time. Although many of them said it was hard to play, they all had fun. Yes, it takes time to build up skills, but it is worth playing with hands and fingers more to stimulate our amazing brains even better.
