From the Music Room

As the end of term has approached several classes have had fun playing the boomwhackers! We accompanied music from the movie "Encanto" and had a go at a challenging piece entitled “Tetris” with 3 levels that became increasingly faster! 

During the final week of term we have had time to play cups and drum sticks, learning  new rhythms to accompany well known songs such as “I’m still standing”.

The grade 1/2 classes completed their lessons about pitch and enjoyed playing the xylophones and glockenspiels to accompany songs such as “Rain, rain, go away” and “Flowing to the sea”.
