The Parliment Prize 2024

Grade 5/6 Parliamentary Prize Draw

Some of our amazing Grade 5/6 students participated in the annual Parliamentary Prize this year. Our excursion to Parliament House and exploring Melbourne City up close inspired them greatly.

Sam and Asha wrote compelling pieces on homelessness, advocating for better societal support for those in need. Marlowe championed a statewide ban on smoking, highlighting its health and environmental risks. Charlie D presented persuasive arguments on tackling clothing waste, and Abi passionately advocated for the inclusion of all individuals in our community.

Results will be out later this year; however, regardless of the results, we are incredibly proud of these students and their dedication to important issues. We look forward to potentially expanding this opportunity next year!
