City of Tamworth Eisteddfod
Pauline Fleming and Molly Gallagher participated in the 76th City of Tamworth Eisteddfod last Tuesday. They prepared a violin duet and completed against other students and received 2nd place! The adjudicator was very pleased with the girls teamwork. This is such a great result!

Guwaalii (talk) Conference practice day - Barraba
On Friday June 14, selected St Michaels' students travelled to St Joseph’s Primary School in Barraba to participate in the Guwaalii (talk) Conference practice day. Students got the opportunity to practise the Gamilaraay Acknowledgement of Country in language and Auslan, as well as other language phrases. The students got to meet new people from Barraba, Inverell, Warialda and Boggabri.
These children will be showing off what they have learnt at the Aboriginal Educators Conference at Myall Creek in Term 4.
