Message from the Principal

Mrs Bronwyn Underwood

Dear Parents and Carers,

Thank you to our wonderful families and friends for so generously supporting our annual Pie Drive. A huge thank you to Manilla Bakery for agreeing to support our school with this popular fundraiser. The P&F Executive, along with Bron Newton in the Office organised the practical side of things, which is much appreciated.

Last Wednesday, we held an after school P&F Meeting at the school, to trial if the earlier time slot was more convenient for parents, as it coincides with school pick-up time. It was decided at this meeting, that Meetings will revert to the second Wednesday of each month, during Term time and late postponements will be avoided. Our President, Jessica Coker, will be surveying parents to determine the best time and place to meet moving forward - your input is valued. Please keep an eye out for this survey in the coming weeks.

Well done to Eloise Trotter who travelled to Sydney last week to represent the Armidale Diocese at the Polding Softball selection trials. Eloise is a very accomplished Catcher when playing softball. Eloise has been selected in the Polding Team to compete in the PSSA carnival later in the year. Congratulations Eloise.

Well done also to Pauline Fleming and Molly Gallagher who combined to win second place at the Tamworth Eisteddfod with their Violin duet. Both girls participate in the CON Music lessons at school every week. Great job girls.

Semester One Reports will be issued on Friday July 5. Parent/Teacher Interviews will be held in Week 2 Term 3 on Tuesday July 30 and Wednesday July 31, commencing at 11.40 a.m. going through until after school, both days. Executive Staff will take classes during this time, to ensure continuity of learning. Bookings will be opened on COMPASS soon.

Enjoy a wonderful week,

Bronwyn
