Grade 3/4 News

The students planted some alfalfa last week and are excitedly watching it grow. They will then create ‘Plant People.’ (See below)

 Our excursion to the Melbourne Museum and IMAX to watch the 3D movie, “The Flight of the Butterflies” has now been published on Sentral. Please give your child permission and pay at the school office by Friday 6th June. 

In Mathematics, the students are working on using the addition and subtraction algorithm to solve problems with renaming. 

In Reading and Writing, our focus is on explanation texts. We will start by writing about animal or plant life cycles. Hopefully their trip to the Melbourne Museum will inspire students to read and write more explanations.
