🕊️Confirmation🕊️

What a beautiful evening we shared together for Confirmation last Thursday! It was so special to witness the students receiving the sacrament, and we hope you felt as proud as we did watching them take this important step in their faith journey.

A big thank you to Miss Newey and Miss Bulte, who helped prepare the children so well - your guidance and support really shone through. And of course, a special shoutout to Mr Coutts, who saved the exit hymn with his beautiful singing when the audio didn’t quite go to plan! It was a lovely moment that brought a smile to everyone’s face.

✝️ Eucharist Preparation✝️

We’re looking forward to celebrating another special milestone with our Year 4 students as they receive their First Eucharist in Term 3.

📅 Date: Thursday 14th August

More details will be shared in the coming weeks, but for now, please save the date!

Sacrament Resource for Families:

The Archdiocese of Melbourne has developed a helpful website for parents and families preparing for the sacraments.🔗 sacraments.melbournecatholic.org

This site includes information about First Eucharist, suggestions for prayer, and ways to deepen your family's faith journey at home.

❤️Feast of the Sacred Heart ❤️

The Feast of the Sacred Heart is coming up in Week 10 on Friday 27th June, and it’s a special celebration for our Sacred Heart community. It’s a time to reflect on Jesus’ deep love for all people and how we can share that love with others.

Here are a few simple ways to explore the feast at home as a family:

❤️ Talk about kindness and how your family can show love to others

🙏 Say a short prayer together, like “Jesus, help us to love like you”

🎨 Make a heart-themed craft and write kind words or prayers on it

📖 Read a Bible story like The Good Shepherd (John 10)

These small moments help children connect their faith to everyday life in a meaningful way.

Le míle beannacht,

(with a thousand blessings)
