Student Representative Council 2025

SRC - Voting Phase Commences

Students were informed last week of the outcome of the initial stage of the 2025 Student Representative Council (SRC) selection process.

The school received over 120 applications from students in Years 2 to 6 - a remarkable level of interest that reflects the strength of student voice and leadership across our community. Selecting only 10 students per year group to progress to the next stage was a challenging task, given the high caliber of submissions.

We would like to thank the teachers who took the time to review and endorse applications, and the Stage Assistant Principals who supported the process so thoughtfully. We also extend our thanks to parents and carers for encouraging their children to put themselves forward and for supporting them through the outcome. The process was considered and collaborative, and we are proud of the way it was carried out across the school.

Students were provided with general feedback relevant to their year group and responded to the outcome with maturity and resilience. Understandably, some may have felt disappointed, and we thank families for continuing to support and encourage their children during this time.

The voting stage will take place this week under the coordination of each Stage Assistant Principal. Please keep an eye out for the names of our newly formed SRC in the next newsletter issue.
