From the Assistant Principal

Dear Families,

SMART WATCHES AND DEVICES

A reminder that students do not have access to smart watches and devices throughout the school day. This includes waiting for afternoon dismissal.

Please contact the office if you would like to leave a message for your child during the school day if there is a change to pick up routines.

Contacting students directly through SMS applications on smart watches etc is a breach of our ICT agreement and mobile device policy.

Likewise, Sydney Catholic Schools have turned off students' ability to email addresses outside of our school domains. This is a security response inline with the Government's new Online Safety Amendment (Social Media Minimum Age) Bill of 2024.

UNIFORM

The last newsletter contained information about uniform expectations. Please check carefully as many students are often in the incorrect uniform. This includes socks, shoes and other accessories. School pride includes the wearing of the correct uniform. All students should be in FULL WINTER UNIFORM now. It is important that students are in the correct school uniform at all times, unless direct correspondence has been made with the class teacher.

During winter, students may come to school wearing beanies and gloves. These need to be in school colours (navy blue). Beanies and gloves are to only be worn before/after school. Normal school hats must be worn during the day.

Thanks for your support in this matter.

PARENT TEACHER INTERVIEWS

Parent Teacher Interviews are now open on Compass. Bookings can be made with class teachers and 4th teachers (if applicable). Please contact the office if you are having any difficulties or need to reschedule meetings outside of times offered.

Students with Individual Adjustment Plans (IAPs) will be offered follow up meetings to review goals during Term 3.

Have a great week,

Jim Heelis

Assistant Principal
